The Wars inside Chile’s Barracks is the product of a postdoctoral fellowship (Fondecyt) at the University of Chile (2011-2014). The research involved field work over five years and throughout Chile, as well as reviewing published and unpublished ex-conscript testimonies about their military service under Pinochet.
Ulrike Meinhof and the Red Army Faction is the result of research carried out while completing my doctorate at the University of Western Australia (2006-2010). I relied, in particular, on files held in the German Federal Archive (Bundesarchiv) in Koblenz and the archives of the Hamburg Institute of Social Research (Hamburger Institut für Sozialforschung).
